While Kiwanis-Mary Hall Park is a
part of the Rapid City park system for the enjoyment of all
citizens, the park is being developed almost entirely without
public funding. Therefore, the Kiwanis-Mary Hall Park Committee
needs your help!
For the past four years we have
been developing the children's learning park in western Rapid
City entirely through donations, fund raisers, loans and gifts
from private individuals and companies. We have come a long way,
but we still have a long way to go. We want Kiwanis-Mary Hall
Park to be a showcase nature learning center for children here
in western South Dakota. We need to raise approximately $60,000
each year for the next five years to complete the park,
including: extending West South Street; building a parking area;
developing a bio-diversity nature trail, and providing the park
with benches, signs and basic amenities.
